Once more, John watched her as she walked to the center of the room, following her slowly. He didn’t fear that he could get hurt, he of all people didn’t have to be afraid of that, and so he let his curiosity guide him, stepping next to Stephanie as she reached out her arm. But instead of simply reaching out, the arm stretched, and John followed her hand with his eyes as it wandered over towards the kitchen and back again. Oh…
“That was unexpected”, he chuckled lightly when everything was ‘normal’ again. Besides, everyone’s power is great, because it’s what forms us. Well… with you one could take that literally. But I assume that can come in handy in a lot of situations, not only to get out of harms way.” He smiled again, his eyes resting on Stephanie’s arm for a little longer before he looked back into her eyes. “Do you, by the way, have any questions for me?”
Stephanie gave a soft laugh as she nodded with a slight shrug. “I suppose you’re right.” She gave a soft laugh at his comment and nodded. “Yeah.” She rubbed her hands together for a moment before she looked back at him with a small smile.
“No, I don’t think so.” She picked up her bag making sure the folder was placed inside securely. “I’ll let you know if I have any questions or anything like that anytime soon.” She nodded curtly.
John watched her browsing through the folder before Stephanie put it away. He really hoped that he didn’t scare her. All the former soldier wanted was for her to be 100% sure what working for Redemption would mean. When she talked about demonstrating her power, he averted his gaze from the view outside, fixing his eyes on the woman again. “That qould be very appreciated, yes.” He noticed that she looked a little more nervous by now. “There is no problem in showing them in here, is there? Otherwise we could go outside as well.”
Stephanie looked around for a moment before she shook her head. “Hm, I think this is just enough space.” She inhaled a small breath as she moved to the center of the room, looking around for a moment. She settled on something that she could stretch to reach that was far away from her. Settling on a counter in the kitchen of the room, she grinned slightly.
Stephanie inhaled a small breath before she stretched out her arm across the conference table, through the small room and into the kitchen before bringing it back to it’s normal length to rest at her side. She popped her lips softly before looking at the man. “It’s not the greatest, but it comes in handy most of the time. I can stretch my body in order to make sure I’m out of harms way and such.” She said softly.
Gotta make sure the girls are dressed and ready for school before I’m off to work.

Stephanie nodded taking the folder as she snapped out of her thoughts. She quickly scanned over important things for a moment still listening to John talk. A few nods here and there before she closed the folder tucking it away into her bag. She licked over her lips before swallowing nervously. Eyes averting to look at John as she smiled slightly.
“Yes. I can see that.” She paused and bit the corner of her lip. A small glance out the window before she looked at John again. “So..” She paused again. “Would this be the time to.. Show my powers?” She asked with a small smile. She was somewhat anxious to show just how useful her powers could be.
